On October 21, 2017, held the regular meeting of the Republican Federation on smooth horse racing and Buzkashi (goatpulling) of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the Head of this Federation Mashrabzoda Jamshed Khol, the head of the Youth and Sports Department in Dushanbe Mirzozoda Ibrokhim, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Hakimov Mahmadi and other members of the Federation from all districts and regions of the republic.
The meeting was opened by the Head of the Republican Federation for smooth racing and Buzkashi (goat pulling) of the Republic of Tajikistan Mashrabzoda Jamshed Kholl, in his speech noted that the Government of the country considers sport one of the main directions of social policy of the state, for its development, popularization of sports, health improvement and physical education are regularly taken effective measures.
In recent years, with the direct support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, a large number of sports facilities were built and put into operation in our country, and the interest among young people for various sports is increasing, with their participation are held various national and international competitions.
Proceeding from this, the Republican Federation of smooth races and Buzkashi (goat pulling) of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the support of the State Executive Body of Dushanbe, regular competitions are held on the eve of the holidays.
During the meeting, the issues of selecting representatives of this Federation for cities, regions and districts of the republican subordination, as well as holding competitions in horse races and Kok-bory (buzkashi) and other topical issues were considered.
At the end of the meeting, the members of the Republican Federation of smooth races and Buzkashi (goat pulling) of the Republic of Tajikistan presented effective proposals for the development and effective conduct of competitions for this sport.
